Uncommon Character Minis

The above minis were previewed today on the Paizo blog: a human druid (from Mwangi), a human rogue, and an elf wizard that would work for PCs or NPCs.  I love the hood on the rogue.  Wizkids continues to live up to their initial promise.  The only thing that I can find to criticize are those little black raised circles underneath the shoes of some of the figures.  Those bug me.

  1. If these are Paizo mini's they are the first ones I have liked.

  2. From the day they announced the line I'd looked forward to picking a few up solely for the monsters. This level of quality is a welcome surprise.
These are the first models I've seen that look like actual "what your gonna get in the box" production figures, unlike previous photos that looked a more like protoype/sales/marketing models. They are looking a hell of a lot better than I expected. Light years ahead of the DDM line.
I'll always be something of a painted metal snob for player character mini's - but I can totally see using these in a pinch without feeling like I cheesed out.

I'll have to pick up a few and check them out hands on of course, but I'm seriously considering case option on these.
