...when you're a rust monster. I recently rambled across Satisfactory Comics, where Isaac is indulging in an activity that never fails to charm me: the Illustrated Abecediary. By his permission, his happy old school rust monster graces this post above. I love how he's captured the glory of its dorkiness. The original post may be a year old, but it clearly deserves more love and in it he sketches a nice, abbreviated version of the creature's history. This reminds me, I still haven't set down my ideas about this classic monster. I've got to do this one of these days, as it builds on an element of folklore that I like that D&D has pretty much ignored.
